Serious advice – a bad start can ruin a career!

DO:

• Gather as much information as you can before you spend any money.

• Shop carefully – visit as many flying schools as you can.

• Check schools thoroughly – the biggest are not always the best.

• Check instructors – many are just ‘passing through’ on their way to the airline job that they would rather be doing. Experienced, mature instructors are reliable.

• Never start flying until you have done some ground school first.

• Be prepared to move away from your home town to attend a quality flying school.

• Save your time and money – avoid breaks in your training – stops and starts are very costly.
